Excess electricity can be stored in batteries. Some capsule homes are also equipped with small wind turbines to supplement their energy supply. Advanced water conservation technologies and recycling systems are employed in water resource management. For example, bathroom showerheads and faucets feature water-saving designs. Collected rainwater, after purification, can be used for non-potable purposes such as flushing toilets and watering plants, thus achieving water recycling.

Using a modular design concept, prefabricated components are shipped to the factory and can be quickly assembled upon arrival, much like building blocks, significantly reducing the construction time. This design makes capsule homes easy to transport, assemble, and expand. They can also be moved and relocated as needed, making them suitable for a variety of applications, such as tourist attractions, emergency housing, and remote area development.
