Highway Safety Galvanized Steel Guardrail

Safety Galvanized Steel Guardrail is a kind of road crash barrier used for securing highway safety by preventing errant vehicles from sliding out of the roads and impacting the roadside buildings or other objects. So it is most commonly fixed on the side of the highways, dock areas, aisles, especially on curves and slopes for protection against run-off-road collisions. Highway guardrails are considered as passive protectors with a view to ensure the safety of the pedestrians by the wayside and the vehicles.

(1)First, Under normal vehicle driving and certain design conditions, the guardrail can achieve the following functions: First, prevent vehicles from crossing the central dividing strip and rushing into the opposite lane;
(2)Second, prevent vehicles from going out of the road on dangerous sections such as bridges, or breaking the guardrail, or drilling out from under the guardrail and going out of the road;
(3)Third, properly guide the driver's line of sight and driving trajectory;
(4)Fourth, when a minor collision occurs, the vehicle can be smoothly guided in the direction of travel or resume the driving state;
(5)Fifth, when a vehicle loses control and collides with the guardrail, the guardrail itself absorbs energy to reduce the degree of injury to the occupants.
